Silent Night Holy Night. Everything sleeps, lonely wakes up ... “- A song that moves the whole world has its roots in Wagrain, among other things. Joseph Mohr, author of the Christmas carol "Silent Night", which is well known far beyond the country's borders, worked as a vicar in the market town of Wagrain from 1837. He also found his final resting place at the local cemetery in Wagrain.
